Who were you before the world told you who you were supposed to be?
I'm Dana. As a model, I learned how the lens builds an image of a woman, and how rarely that image belongs to her. Then I raised four children and disappeared into my own competence, like most of the women I now photograph.
Every woman who sits for me is someone I have been.
I built this studio for the woman who has been everything to everyone and has somehow forgotten what it feels like to be seen.
